hey, im just wondering what i should be eating/drinking before a race/event. usually someone on my track team brings a bag of lemons, i had 1/2 if a lemon and i PB'd in my hurdles.
what are your tips and tricks in this situation??

never heard of that one before...
anyway... high GI foods are usually good before a race, weather long or short distance. The reason is that they help to add to the extra glycogen stored in your muscles. more glycogen means more fuel when your going. which is always a good thing. the trick tho is to find out how much and when best suits u. (and remember to maintain hydrated)
