 Post subject: marathon diet

I am going to start training for a marathon on Feb 1 for a May 4 run. What is the best way to approach my diet. I have run several marathons but it has been 7 years since my last one. Seven years ago I was young enough to put in the mileage without worrying so much about the diet. Now I have to focus more on the diet and would love some advise on the best way to eat and the amound of carbs I should take in throughout my training. Right now I eat a high protiend diet (6 meals a day w/ 6 oz. of chicken, beaf, ect..with vegatables and a potato.
