This is honestly a pointless thread, just a poll to see what people consume for nutrition, and also I just want to try some of the thing users post on this thread.
Ok so I am a 17 year old senior and the Indoor track season has began for about a few weeks now. My mother started making them my freshman year when I was in track,I would always come home dead and tired and she would always say I never eat blah blah which is total b.s. i just don't eat when she's looking :P aside from that, the shake consists of 2 raw eggs,2 bananas, a cup of milk , 1 scoop of vanilla frozen yogurt, some ice and my fav. strawberry syrup. YUM!!! She stopped making them at the end of my fresman yr. so from my sophomore yr to now i just do it myself because I definitely think it is great nutritionally plus they're so good. I drink them maybe 2-3 times a week in the morning as a quick breakfast and ALWAYS the morning of a meet. Now that I am a senior and get out of school early I think ima drink one in the morning and when i get home from school before a weekday meet.
So that's my story,I definitly want to know how many people do drink shakes and the ones that do im curios what's in them, and also is it just me or is anyone else superstitious about them? like i go crazy if i am at a meet and didnt drink one that day. Hopefully there are alot of responses.
