Hi, i was wondering what is a good diet plan for really gaining weight while im lifting in the summer. I have a very very fast metabolism, and the only way i can gain any weight at all is if i eat tons, and lift a lot. But is there any good foods/drinks to help me gain muscle and bulk easyer?
I am 5'11" and about 130lbs. so as you can see i am thin. i have a lot of toned muscle, but i'd like to add 10-20 lbs. of muscle. 20 lbs. is my goal i'd like to be at this winter.
tips would be great.
thanks

You don't really need to eat loads and loads and loads. Your body will utilize any food you eat best if you eat little and often, so rather than have 3 huge meals, try to eat 7 or 8 small meals. So have breakfast, mid morning snack, lunch, mid afternoon snack, dinner and a small evening snack. Obvioulsy play with this to see what works best and go with that...
If you're looking to put weight on, eat meals that are fairly high in protein, but don't neglect on carbs and fat as you need them for energy...

I have heard bad and good things about creatine. The bad outweighing the good... I have a buddy that takes creatine and he loves the stuff, so getting hold of some would not be hard for me ( he has even offered me some when i was unsure) but i'm just not sure if it'd be the right thing... I would like to do it the old fashion way (eat, lift, excercise) but is the creatine/supplements really the road to go?
By the way, I am a sprinter and my events are: 100m, 200m, 4x100m, and Long Jump.
Tips are great!

From what I heard Creatine is not so good for long sitance running and it holds water in the muscles adding weight, and as a runner yuou don't want to be adding to the weight your running around with.
But you are a short distance runner and creatine can help add that short burst energy you need in a sprint. Weight should not be as much of a problem.
If you eat meat you take i creatine naturally so if your only getting protein from sippliments you may not be getting enough anyway.
I hope this helps
