I am training for the NYC marathon next month. I injured my knee this week and was supposed to run 30 miles this saturday. Any suggestion for an alternative exercise?

You didn't give much info so I'll make a few assumptions. Assuming you are an experienced marathoner and you've been training for at least 4 months and getting in a few long runs >15 miles you could probably do the marathon substituting road work with high intensity low impact aerobic training and treadmill. The most important thing is finding out how bad the knee is. You can't just go on feel get it checked out. Good luck
