This is my first topic here.
What functions do you find useful on your watch?
I to purchase a new watch. I wonder what functions I should have on it. I would like to use it for running and walking on countryside.
Which functions do you find very useful? At the moment, in additon to normal functions like timer and time, I am thinking about lapses counter (if I decide to run in towns) and hear rate monitoring though I read that HR monitors are best when they are separate and worn next to heart.
GPS distance measuring - I find such watches a bit too expensive, therefore I think to install GPS on my telephone, anyway I will have it with me if I go running.
Any suggestions what is useful on watches? And then what models?
Thank you,

Hmm well I wouldn't wear a watch when I'm running, nor something on my shirt, it will just end up falling off, and become a pain, if you want to jog and time yourself, than just use an iPod
