Is buying a pair of long jumping shoes made for long jumping worth it? Or is it better to buy the lightest sprinting spike?

Hmm I jump about 20 ft or so every time, I use my 100m sprint spikes, I don't use longjump shoes, if you ask me it's a waste of time.
