i was wondering if anyone out there has these spikes and if you could share more about them. anyone know which would be more suitable or is a better shoe? all that i know is that the powercat weighs 5.9 oz and that the superfly is 7.2oz, however this in not my main concern. i also know that both have the same spike plate, so the difference is probably the upper. anyone can advice on that? btw i do the 100 and 200. thanks in advance

To be honest I would suggest trying them both on as the chances are they will feel very different despite their similar looks. They are likely to be different shapes, and so one will fit the shape of your foot better than the other.

Having not seen the powercat I can't comment on it, but I hav had the Superfly in the past and it has been good, though not as good as my last pair of Mizuno Geo Sparks...

Go with the G5s if laces bother you like me. I can't stand running with shoelaces slapping my ankles and the G5's have the zippered shroud. Also, they're a bit cheaper in price which makes them even more amazing.

The spike plate is far better than anything Nike have to offer. It is lighter, stiffer and still offers proper support against your achilles tendon. Maybe it fits the shape of foot better than the Nike ones..

The fir of the powercats is awesome. The feel so well balanced they are light weight and powerful. The are expensive though. I brought mine from http://www.athletika.co.uk for £109.99 I have the limited edition ones. I hope they make me get a pb this season.

Keep in mind, Mizunos are also EXTREMELY ugly. i mean looks do matter to a certain extent...

The Powercats are a great sprint spike. They are very light and have an aggressive spike plate with a nice feel to them. You wont be dissapointed.
